Trader

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trader to join our team in the steel and steel products sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our trading operations, building relationships with clients and suppliers, and identifying profitable trading opportunities in domestic and international markets. The role requires strong market insight, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of steel products and supply chains.

Job Description

• Execute purchase and sales transactions of steel and steel-related products (e.g., coils, sheets, billets, rebar).
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and freight/logistics partners.
• Monitor global steel markets, analyze trends, and identify trading opportunities to maximize margins.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize profitability.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.
• Manage risk by analyzing credit exposure and market fluctuations.
• Prepare regular reports on market trends, pricing, and trading performance.
• Attend industry conferences and networking events to build industry knowledge and connections.
